Motorcycle Tour Sites In Arizona
Arizona is full of historic areas making the state a favorite for motorcycle tours. Cochise County,
in the southeastern corner of Arizona, is a region of great scenic beauty and carefully preserved cultural
heritage. Ride the "Land of Legends" back into time and encounter some of the nation's most
colorful history ever written. Below are just a few of the sites we can lead you to on a one day or
multi-day motorcycle tour.
Tour group.
There's nothing like a motorcycle ride in the wide open spaces with good friends, or with a group of new
friends that you meet on a Rio Tour. We ride through some of the most beautiful places in the state and beyond.
We have roads that curve through mountains, canyons, deserts, and around lakes, and rivers. Let us take you on a
ride in our back yard.

Old skool Lou.
Old skool Lou leading the pack through a mountain pass in the land of Cochise. The great Chiricahua Apache Chief
ruled these mountains 150 years ago, as he fought the U.S. Cavalry. He was never captured and is said to be buried
in these mountains. The imagination runs wild riding in this area, while thinking of who rode on these sacred grounds
and what happened on the very spot you are in.

Open road.
Rush hour traffic on a lonely Cochise County road. Relax and enjoy our rides on the open road, where you can take
in the views without having to worry about congestion and traffic jams. Our tours are specifically designed to use
secondary roads whenever possible. We don't ride on dirt roads and travel only short distances on freeways.

Geronimo monument.
On this desolate stretch on highway, out of nowhere, we come upon the surrender site of Apache Chief Geronimo.
This monument was dedicated to that historic event which in effect ended the conflict with the Apaches in the
southwest. A brief stop and reflection at this location is a spiritual moment that you won't soon forget.
